Getting to GlenrockGetting to Yercaud itself is part of the fun. You have to get to Salem Junction if you're coming by train. Salem is connected by train to most metros in India. Or you could come by luxury buses from Bangalore. KPN Bus Services are probably the most reliable among these. They're comfortable, frequent and inexpensive. And you can book your tickets online! You have a choice between airconditioned and non-airconditioned buses. If you decide to fly, you can get into Bangalore, Chennai or Coimbatore and choose to take a bus or train to Salem town.The journey from Salem to Yercaud is a scenic climb with multiple hair-pin bends and breath-taking views of the plains below as you climb. You can take a taxi from Salem. On reaching Yercaud, at the lake ask for directions to Pagoda Point. At Pagoda Point ask for Dorai's Estate. More Details here.
